Unique Prints

For collectors that are interested in single edition or “unique” prints, Debra has an extensive library of special never-before-published images available for purchase.

Collectors may request unique custom proofs from any collection. Requesting proofs begins with a $1000 non-refundable deposit which begins the process of mining the library for potential prints to suit your specific request.

The customer will receive between 5 and 8 proofs which fit the parameters given (see below). It is helpful to have a photograph of the room where the piece will be located. Each piece will be quoted as per the size, material, and complexity of the project as well as the uniqueness of the subject matter. The price range for Unique Fine Art Prints starts is $30,000 to $150,000.

A request for a “unique” should include the preferred subject, size, type of print medium, and as much information as possible about the mood and feel of the intended project.

An example of such a request would be “I would like a photograph from the Sable Island collection that depicts a horse walking along the beach with waves in the background and a cloudy sky. I would like the image to evoke a feeling of calmness. I would like the image to be in a 2:5 ratio, 7 feet on the long side and printed on textured fine art paper in monotone. The print will hang above a couch in a contemporary home, and I would like a warm brown filter added to the print to mirror the colour palette of the room.”

When specific colour needs are requested, up to 4 test strips may be sent to the client before the print is completed. Please allow 3-5 weeks for the creation of a Unique.

Custom Prints

If you are looking for that special statement piece to fit your space perfectly, please ask us about custom sizing, cropping and colouring. With certain images, a customized cropping can be obtained to fit that certain spot in your home or office such as on a fireplace or above a stairwell. In some cases, prints can be enlarged up to 60 inches by 144 inches. Many of the images shown in the collections as colour images are also available in Black & White, or Sepia-toned.
