Just West of Wild

The Rocky Mountain easter slopes in the province of Alberta is the heart of Canada’s cowboy trail. Like a verse from an old Ian Tyson song, the land of shining mountains and big Alberta sky cradles a western culture fairly unchanged by modernity. Rodeos, brandings, historic ranches and colourful characters provide remnants of the once wild west.
