Day 1 – August 28th
Airport pickup and check in to hotel, welcome dinner at Henry House (à la carte) Dinner 8:30pm, Slide presentation about Sable Island National Park.
Day 2 – August 29th
2 hour classroom session to go over optimum camera settings and learn the best shooting techniques specific to capturing the action on Sable Island. We will practice these techniques by touring Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, a Friesian Horse breeding farm followed by a Mi’kMaq indigenous experience at Kejimkujik National Park.
Day 3 – August 30th
Sable island NPR with airport transfer, 7am arrival at Vision Air Services, helicopter to Sable Island, full day guided experience on Sable with Debra Garside and Kattuk Expeditions, return transfer to Halifax.
Day 4 – August 31st
4-hour classroom session to select and process your Sable Island images. Each guest will be given a private 30 minute session with Debra to discuss topics of choice which can include anything from an editing session to portfolio review. Lunch and photoshoot at Peggy’s Cove lighthouse and fishing villages. Day 3 and Day 4 activities could be switched as per Sable weather.
Day 5 – Sept 1st
Check out, airport transfer
